Being a breeder takes commitment, finances, understanding of the process and love for the breed. Breeding French Bulldogs is not easy! Beings they require artificial insemination and C sections, each litter costs around 10,000 in reproductive related vet bills.

AKC French Bulldog breeders

If you are searching for the right French bulldog breeders, you have found us! We try our best to have pups available through the year but we only produce 7-8 litters total. Sometimes have a waiting list, and if so we promise our pups worth the wait!

Because of our high level of standard with our dogs and our breeding, we often do have a waiting list. Finding the right pup is not about turn around time, it is about finding the right puppy to fit your family. Sure, they should act similar to the breed standard as a French Bulldog Puppy for sale, but much more than that matters.

AKC Frenchie Breeders

What defines our goals and mission as a breeder? 1. Structure: Pups from DFB will be short, thick and compact. Breeding for short backs, short legs, and a high skeletal weight and dense muscle. Thick, solid but small and compact defines our puppies.

French Bulldog breeders

Our goal is to consistently offer some of the best structure and genes in the world at a fair French bulldog price. So consider quality when looking at the total French Bulldog cost. Our more expensive pup options will typically be the fluffy french bulldog price. Besides the coat type, the color will dictate the price point more than anything else.

AKC Frenchie Breeders

Common colors like brindle and fawn will be cheapest. Most higher level French bulldog breeders do not work with those colors though, as they are dominant and override all the cool new exotic colors. For us here, our most common colors are sometimes black or cocoa, and then blue. Lilac is the next level up over blue, and after that is probably Isabella.

Rojo and Chocolate represent probably the highest price points right now, with the “new shade” versions being even more. As one of the most respected French bulldog breeders in the USA we are up to the challenge to consistently improve this wonderful breed.

How much do French bulldogs cost?

Our Frenchies range in price from $5000.00 up to $50,000 with most in the range of $6000-$12,000.00. The rarer the color, the higher the price. If you are wondering how much French bulldogs cost, keep in mind that there are a number of variables that influence the final cost. What color are the puppies? Do they carry fluffy? Do they carry the new “no shed” gene?
All dictate what the cost of the Frenchie puppy will be.

What makes Designer French bulldog breeders the best?

Obviously the quality of our dogs and their puppies speak for themselves visually. Here we would like to just touch on what makes us a better Frenchie breeder than most. First, our owner is an animal biologist by degree. Understanding the science behind the genetics and the reproductive parts of breeding in itself is an advantage over most other programs.

Our whelping process

Whelping is a key part of producing the best French bulldog puppies for sale anywhere here at Designer. Starting at just 4.5 weeks of age, we start to “pre house break” our puppies. They have access to pee pads within their whelping box as we refuse to cage any of our pups. Once they are 6 weeks of age, we provide them access to a separate whelping box that is lined with pee pads for them.

Usually by 7 weeks most of them are only pooping on the pads, and by 8 weeks nearly all of them are also urinating ONLY on the pee pad side. This “pre programs” or “well starts” our babies to understand that you do not go to the bathroom where you eat, or sleep!
